Joaquin Murrieta was known as the “Robin Hood of El Dorado.” Free-spirited”, this man was full of life. He had a passion that was well known and honoured in the outlaw world. He was notorious for thieving gold in the infamous gold-rush parts of California. His legend still lives on through the land, as well as the Murrieta’s West Coast Grill.

The Grill

This Grill is highly known in the Calgary area by the locals, as it has great service and delicious food. Housed in the Alberta Hotel Building, this dining option is unique in its offerings. It caters to those who have a varied taste, as well as those who enjoy classic dining.

You will find a variety of food offerings, which includes seafood, steak, game and pasta. To pair with every meal you can choose an exquisite wine option. You will find a variety of old world wines, as well as the popular Pacific Rim wines.

Reservations and Hours

Reservations can be made for parties with 8 or more. You can fill out the online inquiry or call 1-403-269-7707. Hours of operation are Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, Thursday 11am to 12pm, Friday through Sunday from 4pm to 10pm.

Enjoy a meal in the dining room or visit the lounge. You can enjoy live music from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday and Friday. Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 1am you can enjoy music from all types of genres, such as R&B, Classic Rock, and Jazz.

From 3pm to 6pm Monday through Friday you can enjoy $5 off a variety of food, beer, wine and spirits. Lunch, dinner and desserts are all served at the Murrietta's West Coast Grill. Enjoy signature dishes such as Beer Battered Alaskan Cod & Chips , 8-ounce Reserve Angus Striploin, and Venison Sausage.
