Model Milk's current building in uptown Calgary started out as a dairy that was important throughout Calgary's history. It would be only fitting to keep the milk tradition, at least within the restaurant's name, alive. One look at the menu lets you know that Model Milk is anything but milk though.

Atmosphere

Model Milk can be a little noisy at times, but that just means everyone is enjoying themselves! Model Milk is an excellent place to take any out of town guests or a group of people. There are private rooms available for groups with reservations. Despite the constant action at Model Milk, you won't feel rushed by the staff at any point during your meal.

Service

Service is energetic and they are quick to make recommendations on the menu if you are not sure what to order. This can be extremely helpful if you happen to bring someone with you who never knows what they want to eat.

The Menu

The ingredients are fresh and local, and the menu items are creative with a large selection of tapas items. With so much food to try of the menu, this restaurant will be good for several people to go to in order to sample more plates. The most interesting item on the menu is rabbit mortadella, and it is possible to order a burger cooked the way you want here, even if it is medium rare! Every Sunday, they serve a different themes family style supper.

There is a bar, and the bartenders are always up for a lively chat with people. There is a good selection of bottled beers and wines.

You will be guaranteed to have a fantastic dining experience at Model Milk. It is highly recommend making reservations though, since Model Milk is so popular. You will not regret giving this restaurant a try.
