Bolero is Calgary’s favorite Barbeque and Brazilian cuisine eatery in the area. It’s located at 6920 Macleod Trail South in Calgary and is open seven days a week featuring dinner and Sunday brunch. The Brazilian-style steakhouse features the Churrasco experience which means you’ll get up to 16 choices of skewers of slow-roasted meat brought to your table with some of the finest selections of Alberta beef, chicken, lamb and more.

The Bolero experience includes never-ending meat skewers brought to your table, a no-limit fresco and sides bar and a fully stocked bar. Here is a look at how Bolero works and what you can expect.

What to expect

The Bolero dining experience starts with you sitting down and relaxing with your party with a drink. Your server will explain the process to you and once you’ve settled in, you’ll be invited to visit the gourmet fresco and sides bar.

This area is the place to get fresh cut vegetables, cured meats, Brazilian side dishes and some imported cheeses. Once you’ve sat down and you’re ready for meat skewers, you’ll flip your card to the green side up which tells the gaucho chefs that table side service can begin. They will arrive with 16 slow-roasted skewers for you to enjoy at your own pace.

Your skewer selections include:

  • Pork loin
  • Lamb
  • Alberta beef
  • Chicken
  • Linguica
  • Baby back ribs
  • Glazed pineapple
  • And many more

You control the pace of the skewer delivery. Whenever you want more brought to your table, just keep the green side up. If you need a break or want to finish completely, turn your card to red. You can slow down the pace at any time by flipping to the red sign. After dinner, enjoy a delicious coffee or dessert like the chocolate lava cake or tres leche. Enjoy wine or cocktails like the grilled pineapple caipirinha.

You can’t beat the Bolero experience offered right in Calgary.
