Get Ready - Get Set - Slide!

Get your bathing suits ready for the big event that's coming to Calgary this August. Slide the City will be making its grand debut in this city on August 1 and 2 and it's something that you definitely won't want to miss! This event has been a huge success so far in the other cities it has visited.

Can you imagine yourself slipping and sliding down one of the streets in Calgary along a 300m water slide? If so, you’ll want to be prepared to buy one of the 6,000 tickets that will be available for each day. This attraction will be arriving in Calgary this year and although we know the dates now the organizers have not yet disclosed the location. We'll find out where the exact location will be when the organizers of the event release details about all of the Canadian slip and slide events this month

Slide the city is also expected to visit Edmonton and Fort McMurray this year. The event in Edmonton will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Sliders have to be at least 5 years old and at least 3'8" high. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent before taking part in the event and you'll need to bring along your own inflatable tube or buy one on site.

If you love to slide you can sign up to slide as often as you want. There are different sliding packages available and if you buy one of the multi-slide options an inflatable tube will be provided. It's going to be a party-like atmosphere out on the street and you can bet that it will be an experience that you and your family will never forget.
